Overview
Local ventilation fans are essential ventilation equipment in the coal mining process, especially the series of explosion-proof, pressure-type, contra-rotating axial flow local ventilation fans. These are widely used for pressure-type long-distance ventilation in the excavation of large and small cross-section roadways in coal mines, and can also be used for ventilation in metallurgical, petrochemical, power, railway, and highway tunnel industries. This series of ventilation fans are reasonably matched with the ventilation parameters of coal mine roadways. This series of fans features high flow rate, high pressure, and high efficiency. However, during operation, they produce harsh aerodynamic and mechanical noise, affecting the physical and mental health of workers in the mining process. Currently, most commonly used local fans use double-layer casings filled with sound-absorbing materials to reduce noise, but the overall radiated noise of the fan during operation is greater than 110dB(A), failing to meet user requirements for low noise.
Therefore, our company has developed low-noise and ultra-low-noise environmentally friendly ventilation fans, reducing various frequency noises to below 85-80 decibels, protecting the physical and mental health of on-site personnel, improving the underground working environment, and achieving environmentally friendly air supply. We have adopted multiple noise reduction measures. Based on the aerodynamic principles of the fan and the principles of noise generation and propagation, we have added a streamlined air intake silencer and an inlet/outlet composite silencer, optimized the structure of the fan unit, and added high-quality sound-absorbing materials for better absorption of mid-to-low frequency noise and efficient isolation of high-frequency noise, eliminating and attenuating overall fan noise.

The FBD series low-noise front and rear double silencing structure is based on the conventional FBD series explosion-proof, pressure-type, contra-rotating axial flow local ventilation fan, with the addition of an inlet silencer to achieve a double silencing structure at the inlet and outlet.
