The main mine ventilation fan uninterrupted fan switching system is designed to overcome the various shortcomings of the ventilation equipment structure used in most mines. This system starts the standby fan in advance before the running fan is stopped, that is, it enters "hot standby before switching", improving the fault tolerance capability of the switching process. If the standby fan can start normally, the ventilation network can be switched after it runs stably; if the standby fan cannot start normally, it can be stopped first, because the running fan has not stopped, so it will not affect the underground operation. The reason can be checked during the standby time. In addition, from the perspective of the impact on the ventilation system, starting the standby fan in advance can change the system wind pressure fluctuation during the entire switching process in the current "stop-wind switching" mode to a reasonable fluctuation of the underground air volume in the short time of ventilation network switching. It realizes "uninterrupted main and standby fan switching", eliminating the problem of intermittent ventilation underground caused by the stop-wind switching.

This system has the functions of automatic switching of mine main ventilation fan without stopping the wind, "one-button" operation switching, and automatic switching based on self-identification of ventilation fan failure. Through the picking and control system, the logic control quickly opens or closes the airtight new-type valve to achieve quick switching of the ventilation fan, and the impact on the ventilation system during the process is shortened from the "system stop-wind" in the traditional way to "air volume fluctuation", and the switching time under fault conditions is shortened.
