Local ventilation fans for coal mines are essential ventilation equipment used in the mining and excavation processes. In particular, the FBD series of explosion-proof, positive-pressure, counter-rotating axial-flow local ventilation fans are widely employed not only for long-distance, positive-pressure ventilation in large- and small-section roadways within coal mines but also for ventilation and air exchange in industrial sectors such as metallurgy, petrochemicals, power generation, railways, and highway tunnels. This series of ventilation fans is specifically designed to match the ventilation parameters of coal mine roadways, making them ideal for tunneling operations. These fans feature high airflow, high static pressure, and high efficiency. However, during operation, they generate harsh aerodynamic and mechanical noise, which has already begun to affect the physical and mental health of workers in mine production environments. Currently, most commonly used local ventilation fans employ a double-shell design filled with sound-absorbing materials to reduce noise levels. Nevertheless, the overall radiated noise from these operating fans still exceeds 100 dB(A), failing to meet customers’ requirements for low noise levels.
To this end, our company has developed environmentally friendly ventilators featuring low-noise and ultra-low-noise performance, reducing the noise levels of various frequencies emitted by the fans to below 85 to 80 decibels.
